Policies
Our policies are used only as a guideline in maintaining a workable relationship with our customers. These policies are not intended to make things complicated for a dissatisfied customer. Naturally we will do our best to make sure that our customers are not only happy with their Yumiko piece(s) but also satisfied with the service behind it. In order for us to develop a good system in dealing with any problems you may have with your order we ask that you try to follow these guidelines. If this is not possible, please don't hesitate in contacting us to discuss an alternative.
Returns & Exchanges
No Yumiko piece can be returned, refunded or exchanged for any reason, except for faults made in the production of the piece(s). ALL SALES ARE FINAL! If there is a fault in production you must send an email explaining what the problem is, where bought you piece (order number if known) and when. You may be asked to provide a digital photo of the problem before we except to make an exchange or refund. DO NOT SEND ANYTHING BACK UNLESS YOU HAVE CONFIRMATION FROM US!! Please send your email to info@yumiko-world.com. Items must also be:
- Returned within 14 days of purchasing/receiving your order.Returned postage paid by us if in fact the fault is ours.
- Packed in their original package with all original tags and labels attached, as was received.Returned postage paid by us if in fact the fault is ours.
- Clearly 'not have been worn' and must not have been washed.Returned postage paid by us if in fact the fault is ours.
- Returned postage paid by us if in fact the fault is ours.
In light of production defects, items will be sent postage free. Items returned that do not comply with our return policy will be discarded or returned at the customers' expense. Only items bought directly from official representatives may be returned. Returns and exchange policies are not applicable on discounts or items that have been specially adjusted or damaged during transport/shipping.
Special Requests
Yumiko reserves the right to reject any special order based on color combination or design adjustment that is not representative of the Yumiko label. If your order has been rejected you will be notified to discuss an alternative.
Yumiko does not guarantee any special requests or alterations made outside of what is offered or what is considered a normal adjustment.
Back Ordered Items
If for any reason we are unable to fill your order because of the availability of material we will contact you directly to discuss an alternative.
Pricing
Due to certain agreements made with the different representatives worldwide pricing may vary from region to region. Yumiko reserves the right to make adjustments in prices. Customers will be advised of changes in the printed price before any order is accepted.
Retail prices are set in agreements with Yumiko. Retailers and Representatives may not change the retail price without first having written approval from Yumiko.
Privacy Policy
Yumiko will not disclose customer information to third parties. A system is used to keep track of your shopping details in order to process your order. This system can store your address information only if you choose. Please note this option when placing your order.
No portion of the Yumiko catalog, website, or printed material may be copied or used without express written approval by yumiko.
Shipping
All products are shipped from our own workshop in Spain. We ship worldwide using standard post for orders of 15 items or less. For orders of 15 items or more we ship with DHL. Shipping times depend on the method used and shipping addresses. This does not include our production time. Receiver is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and extra costs associated with package entering destination country. Yumiko is not responsible for damages that occur during shipping.
If your package is returned because the address is incorrect, not found, or because the package was unclaimed, we will not resend the package without additional payment for the cost of resending. Naturally, if it's our mistake there is no extra charge. Please make sure your address is correct and that there is always someone available to claim the package if you are not able.
Fabric / Color
Due to the countless variations possible, Yumiko does not guarantee that the colors/fabrics chosen to combine will not bleed or discolor. Especially with lighter colors in combinations with darker color the discoloration will be more apparent. We do will not refund or exchange any pieces effect in this way. Our suggestion is to follow the Fabric care and any special instructions or notes.
Fabric Hand wash only in cold water.
Use only very mild detergent.
Do not Iron.
Do not use Dryer - Lay flat to dry.
Do not wear for long periods of intense exertion as high levels of body Acid or Alkaline combined with warm body temperatures may have adverse effects and may cause discoloration or colors to run.
